Procrastinate now, Panic later.

Six things I did instead of student report cards:

1. Ripped down the ghettotastic bulletin board in my classroom and replaced it with monochromatic calm. Goodbye, olive and kelly green paper with cerulean border. Hello, crisp black duckcloth and graphite/black scalloped border. Goodbye 90 minutes.

2. Came home and played online games. Necessary. Especially while drinking coffee.

3. Purged emails from 2011. OMG. How can anyone think while those are just SITTNG THERE? At the same time I translated the "Word World" theme song into Spanish, entirely in my head, since I was mentally singing it incessantly.

4. Played "Run Across the Room Into Open Arms" with my daughter, but in the master bathroom, where the room isn't so large. She has little T-Rex legs anyway.

5. Ritually maintained my impeccably groomed brows. Critically important in order to be eloquent when writing comments for students.

6. Created this blog.
